Welcome to Fit Exchange

The fitness world’s most exciting new network linking the best independent and locally owned gyms around Australia.

We’re enabling members of Fit Exchange to train at other locations around Australia when they travel for work or holiday.

We believe that locally owned and operated gyms are the best gyms. They’re part of our community, they know our names and chances are you’ve had a few D&Ms with them too.

If you travel a fair bit, no doubt you’ve been forced to use crappy hotel gyms or the big chain gyms to access other facilities on the road… Until now!

Welcome to Fit Exchange. Welcome to our community.

How to use Fit Exchange

Gym Membership

Become a member of a local Fit Exchange gym or suggest your local gym join the network.

Download Application

Download the Fit Exchange app for Apple or Android.

Create Account

Create an account and register with Fit Exchange. Your gym will then confirm your membership after you register.

Find Gym with App

A list of participating gyms will appear or you can search via the map feature. Use the list to find the closest gym that has the facilities you’re after.

Review Staffed Hours

Check the staffed hours and if it suits, select the ‘Train Now’ button. This generates your unique four-digit validation number to present to the gym’s reception.

Wait for gym approval

The gym reception enters your validation number and as Fit Exchange is a like-for-like service, you now have access to the same facilities you have at your home gym.

Fit Exchange fair-go policy and limitations

30km blackout

The Fit Exchange network is about protecting the independence of our locally owned and operated gyms. Gyms around Australia will kindly welcome you when you’re in their neck of the woods, however training is not permitted at Fit Exchange gyms within 30 kilometers of your home gym.

Training Limits

We need to be fair to the gyms that are accommodating us. That’s why Fit Exchange members can train a maximum eight times at any one gym, per month. If you’re in an area with a number of Fit Exchange gyms you can choose to train at another gym when your eight visits expire at a single gym.

Entry to a Fit Exchange network gym is only possible during staffed hours. You can check the staffed hours on the app before you train. Remember to check the gym’s website for public holiday staffed hours.

The access level to any gym is determined by your home gym’s membership level and the facilities it offers. Whatever your home gym offers is what you’ll be able to use when using Fit Exchange gyms.

Fit Exchange membership is $2 per week charged on a monthly basis. This is separate to your gym membership. A four month minimum sign-up commitment is required.

Our Values

Independence is best

We know the best people to run gyms are those who know the members and towns they’re in. We trust their judgment and listen to their advice. We treat them like family.

Call a spade a spade

We’re upfront and honest. We don’t bullshit.

Always aim for the gold and then break our own record

We operate like an athlete. We work our guts out to be the best. Always striving to improve.
